Resident camp

 Location

          Savudrija is located on Istria in the North Adriatic, only a few kilometers from Slovenia and 20 nautical miles from Italy. Nearby you will find popular tourist such as like Umag and Rovinj. Wiki camp is located within “Veli Jože” camp (see google map earth).

Facilities & Accommodation

          The camp is spread over 12000 m2, containing 15 wooden bungalows, each with 12 beds. Bungalows located on the north side are for girls, and the ones on the south side are for boys.
           Wiki camp is enclosed and isolated from the rest of the camp. There is a dining room within the camp that can accommodate up to 200 people at the time. There are also restrooms in the camp area.

          The evening program is performed on a stage, huge theatre “San Remo”, with 200 seats for children. Within the camp Veli Jože are various sport courts (beach volleyball, soccer, handball, basketball, mini golf, tennis,..) as well as icamp fire arena.

Camp Organization

           Days in Savudrija are divided into six main activity periods. Campers are assigned to groups according to the activity they have chosen, age and/or skill levels. Generally, in the morning and afternoon they have 6 six sets of activities chosen from a selection of ‘sign-up’ activities. There is always a (at a ratio of 1:6), great group of experienced counselors present who are fun, friendly, caring, helpful and a source of inspiration for the young campers.

Meals

           Healthy, varied food, adapted for all diets and eating habits is prepared by Wiki Camps' chefs, and is presented with no restriction on quantities. Some special dietary needs can be accommodated for.

Excursions

          One full-day excursion is planned for the whole camp and several half-day excursions with program/age groups are possible, depending upon the weather and schedule requirements. Excursions are always organized for children who are staying in the two weeks programs. There are always cultural and educational visits included as well as time for walking around and shopping with friends.
